Shavers of Ancaster

I have seen some references to John Shaver (1739-1795) as John William Shaver. Can anyone confirm the middle name William?

Also, I am curious about the following dates in the notes on that same page:
Immigration: 31 OCT 1765 Rotterdam, Germany to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.
Immigration: 1784 New Jersey, U.S.A. to Ontario, Canada

I have taken these notes literally... i.e. Immigration; not emigration.

This reference identifies a very specific birth place for John, in Hanover, Stadt Hannover, Niedersachsen, Germany in the year 1729 (this differs from the 1739 references I have).

Also note the full name of spouse.

Anyone care to comment on this reference?
